TMTA Mission
The mission of the Tennessee Mathematics Teachers' Association is to encourage the study of and improve the teaching of mathematics in all the schools and colleges of Tennessee. We are planning a FACE-TO-FACE Conference in October at the Memphis University School. See our Conference link for more information! 2021 TMTA HIGH SCHOOL MATHEMATICS CONTEST Important Information Due to the ongoing COVID concerns, limitations on the amount of people in a meeting or group, school district and university restrictions, and most importantly, the safety of all our students and faculty, the 2021 TMTA High School Mathematics Contest is cancelled. This was a difficult decision to make as everyone involved in the contest loves being part of young people getting together to show their knowledge of and passion for mathematics. We miss seeing the students and teachers on contest day. Hopefully, by spring of next year, we will be able to hold the contest and students will once again be able to participate in the TMTA High School Mathematics Contest.
